I am sooooo late with this post! With work and life so busy (as usual), I must confess, I’ve been procrastinating on the blog. I’ve been wanting to enjoy weekends and road trips and so that’s what I did. I’m certain like many of you, staying indoors for all those months was tough, even for me, a natural homebody. Even homebodies have their limits! 😉 (more…)
I just got back from a 4th of July getaway in Pensacola, FL. This was my first adventure since Christmas. I needed a break and some beach time. I had a lot of fun, was in good company, and hope to share this story on the blog one day. (more…)
Lizzy’s Latest Note: This post was supposed to go live on Sunday, but I had ongoing internet issues. Comcast is the WORST! Absolutely unreliable and I plan to cancel my service soon. As such, my Father’s Day post is a bit belated.
Greetings, my faithful friends and followers. I must apologize for my absence, but life got busy (again!). Adding to the delay was a technical issue that briefly took my website offline. I didn’t even realize my website was offline until a few days ago when I tried to update it and couldn’t get in. It was the worst feeling; my heart sank. So much of my heart and soul goes into Lizzy’s Latest. It is a passion of mine because I enjoy sharing heels and history with all of you. 🙂 (more…)

She was a girl I used to know who remains close to my heart. She was my Eternal BFF, Shari. The first time we met was serendipitous and from that moment on, we became the best of friends. We got into so much mischief together (as kids do!), but always gave the appearance of being perfect angels. 😉 When we lost touch many years ago, I never forgot Shari, even searching for her over the years to no avail. Her impact on my life was immense and I often reminisced about our adventures and prayed that she was healthy and happy. (more…)
Last week I shared outfit 1 celebrating the Washington Nationals 2019 World Series Championship win. I dubbed it my “All American Girl” look. This week, I am sharing outfit 2 which I have labeled my “Vixen” look. To me, it’s amazing how a pair of black backseam pantyhose can elevate an outfit from cute to SEXY! (more…)
I realize this is a little belated, but CONGRATULATIONS to the Washington Nationals for their 2019 World Series Championship win over the (cheating) Houston Astros!!! (more…)
My busy season is finally over at work! Though, this week has been unusually busy. I don’t mind though because it makes the day go by faster. 🙂 (more…)
When I began my blog journey some years ago, our go-to destination for photo shoots was Richmond, VA. Richmond is steeped in Civil War history and remnants of the Old South’s charm still feel warm and inviting. Its allure has captured my heart and it’s the only city that draws me back time and time again. (more…)
