Lizzy’s Latest Note: This post was supposed to go live on Sunday, but I had ongoing internet issues. Comcast is the WORST! Absolutely unreliable and I plan to cancel my service soon. As such, my Father’s Day post is a bit belated.
Greetings, my faithful friends and followers. I must apologize for my absence, but life got busy (again!). Adding to the delay was a technical issue that briefly took my website offline. I didn’t even realize my website was offline until a few days ago when I tried to update it and couldn’t get in. It was the worst feeling; my heart sank. So much of my heart and soul goes into Lizzy’s Latest. It is a passion of mine because I enjoy sharing heels and history with all of you. 🙂
Fortunately, when I called WordPress Support the next day, I had a wonderful experience. My IT guy found the issue and fixed it within minutes. It was an update I should have done a while ago, but kept putting it off because I wasn’t sure how the update would affect my plug-ins. Anyway, long story short, it was updated and we are good to go…for now. 😉
From crisis to happiness, we celebrated Father’s Day this weekend. My brother, Michael, sister, Jeanette, and I all agree that our dad is the greatest dad! He is a man of his word, always following through with his commitments. His integrity is the standard by which my sister and I measure any man that comes into our lives. I wrote a post about my dad here a few years ago. Check it out if you have time.
For all the fathers out there, I hope you had a wonderful Father’s Day. I am so grateful for mine because without my dad, things would never get fixed, spiders and bugs would never be killed, and I’d have no photographer for my blog. 😉
Thank you, Dad, for always being there for me, Michael, and Jeanette. We love you so much and appreciate all the sacrifices you have made for us and continue to make. As Michael said in our family text, ”Happy Father’s Day to the #1 Dad, Grandpa Greg!”
Dad’s response: “Thank you, all!!! You’re the best kids a dad could have.”
