Lizzy’s Latest – Washington Nationals 2019 World Series Champions – Outfit 2

Last week I shared outfit 1 celebrating the Washington Nationals 2019 World Series Championship win.  I dubbed it my “All American Girl” look.  This week, I am sharing outfit 2 which I have labeled my “Vixen” look.  To me, it’s amazing how a pair of black backseam pantyhose can elevate an outfit from cute to SEXY!

The night before my shoot, I had absolutely nothing to wear with my championship t-shirts.  I knew I wanted to wear Daisy Dukes for that first outfit, but I didn’t have any ideas for this second look.  In addition, I wasn’t sure if I could even find short shorts in the middle of winter.

I headed to the mall that evening hoping for the best.  Once there, I went straight to Express.  As I perused the store, my hopes were beginning to diminish…until I wandered to the back.  On a table, I found denim short shorts in different colors and styles!  I couldn’t believe it!  I held my breath as I looked for my size.  BINGO!  My size was available in all colors and styles.  My mind was racing because I had my first outfit and my second outfit began to materialize in my mind.  YES!  White denim cut-offs would look great with my black championship t-shirt, an edgy belt, Marc Fischer stiletto heels featured here, and a pair of seductive backseam pantyhose.  I was set!

That weekend we were blessed with temperatures in the 70s, a rarity for this time of year.  We had a great first shoot and I couldn’t wait to put on this heel/outfit combo!  I must confess, this look is a bit racy for my taste and it did take me a little out of my fashion comfort zone, but it was the look I wanted to wear and I felt confident I could pull it off.

We headed to Regency Furniture Stadium where the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs play.  The shoot was almost perfect.  Unfortunately, between the outfit changes, the winds picked up and it felt like we were shooting in a wind tunnel!  UGHHH!!!!  So many of these shots were ruined because of my blowing hair.  SIGH…

We finished up the shoot at the local high school where we had the first shoot.  By then, the winds had died down significantly and we were able to get some last minute shots in before we ended the shoot so I could run to Mass to fulfill my weekly church obligation.  And yes, I did change into more appropriate attire before church.  😉

I hope y’all enjoy the pics.  I thank serendipity for this look.  🙂   I don’t usually go out of my fashion comfort zone, but doing so every so often is truly what makes fashion fun, right?

Style with a Smile.

XoXo,

Lizzy

Peek-a-boo! 😉

We saw this truck in the parking lot and couldn’t resist these last two shots. 😉
