Happy Valentine’s Day, my lovelies! How fitting it is that this day of love falls on the start of the Lenten season. There is no greater example of love than God’s love for humanity that He would sacrifice His only Son, Jesus, for our sins so that we may have eternal life.
HAPPY NEW YEAR to my family, friends, followers, and visitors! I suppose by now, you’re used to me arriving fashionably late. 😉 I always seem to be chasing time…story of my life. Sigh…but, I can never stay away for too long. The connection I have with you here always draws me back. 😊 And I couldn’t wait to share the set from this photo shoot! In my last post I shared the details of my Salem girls trip with my besties. Well, there was more to the trip…in Boston! On our way to Salem, we had to pick up my childhood Forever BFF, Tammy, at Logan Airport. Her flight came in late, so we had some time to check out sites in Boston. Of course, my penchant for history led us to the Boston Tea Party Ships and Museum.

Maryland is such a beautiful state! To this day, we continue to discover amazing treasures such as the War Correspondents Memorial Arch at Gathland State Park in Western Maryland. I was so excited to have a fall photo shoot here because of the gorgeous backdrop. Part of the Appalachian Trail cuts through here and the area is steeped in Civil War history that I was not aware of until we found this hidden gem. I’m hoping to write more about its Civil War past in future blog posts. (more…)

Work has been busy as usual, but I took some time off in July to spend time with my two Godsons, Andrew and Josh. Hello, my lovelies! I can’t tell you how excited I am to feature the INC Kenjay pumps on the blog. I’ve had the heels for some time now, but could not find the perfect outfit. This look came together a bit organically. I think I found the green coated jeans first and then the sweater, both from White House Black Market (on sale!). I wasn’t sure about the sweater because it is so voluminous and my petite frame always seems to drown in “big” tops. However, pics are always about the angles and Dad has become a bit of a pro at finding the right angles…or perhaps it’s me telling him to take more pics. Haha…sorry, Dad! We’ll just say it’s a combination of both. 😉 (more…)
I am sooooo late with this post! With work and life so busy (as usual), I must confess, I’ve been procrastinating on the blog. I’ve been wanting to enjoy weekends and road trips and so that’s what I did. I’m certain like many of you, staying indoors for all those months was tough, even for me, a natural homebody.
