What a treat this week! Lizzy’s Latest has a special two part post featuring a new fashion collaboration with Sphinx Vogue and a Shoespiration segment featuring the Michael Kors Elana platform sandals.(more…)
August was full of adventure for me! I was in Savannah, GA earlier in the month and had a wonderful time. I will detail that trip in a future blog post. I also spent time with my two Godsons and niece in SC mid-August. We had an 80s themed party which I will also share in a future blog post. By the end of August, we were back to photo shooting for the blog. I cannot wait to feature that post because it deals with the legend of Moll Dyer, a local woman who lived a century or so ago and was rumored to be a witch. Perfect post for October! 😉 (more…)
After Easter, I went a little overboard with shoe shopping. I bought around 10 pairs of shoes in one sitting! These sky-high heels were in that bunch. I’ve never featured Jessica Simpson heels on the blog because a lot of her heels are too high for me and not necessarily the most comfortable. However, I took a chance on this pair because I love red stiletto heels and I wanted to pair them with this beautiful floral romper. (more…)
I have to admit, I’ve lived in Southern Maryland for many years now and this was my first time in Solomons Island. It is a quaint town on the Patuxent River/Chesapeake Bay. Very picturesque. It is a perfect destination for a weekend getaway and/or a photo shoot. 🙂 (more…)
Charleston, SC is a city I enjoy visiting because of its Civil War past. So, it was only natural for my Forever BFF, Tammy, and I to take a day trip there. We left Savannah early Sunday morning. When we were about 20 miles into South Carolina, traffic came to a crawl on Interstate 95 North. Tammy exclaimed: “Look!” and we saw an exit ramp flooded with a submerged car!
The weekend we took these pics, my dad was dealing with a bad cold. He did not let on how sick he was until we were on our way to Western Maryland for this photo shoot. I felt awful and suggested we cancel the shoot, but my dad said he took medicine and was feeling better. So, we headed to Sideling Hill Road Cut (aka The Cut). (more…)
Last Saturday, I got to spend time with my Godson, Andrew, and niece, Kristin. On their way to the beach, my brother and his family took a break from their drive for some family time. The kids were excited too about a slumber party with Aunt Lizzy. 🙂 (more…)
In less than two weeks, my BFF, Tammy, and I will be on our way to Savannah, GA! Hard to believe, but Tammy has never been to the East Coast or the South. Her biggest anxiety is the thought of mosquitoes eating her alive because she is very prone to getting bit. We always joke she has sweet blood! 😉 I told her not to worry because I will bring the bug spray. 🙂 (more…)
For this heel/outfit combo, I can’t remember what came first: the heels or the dress. Whatever the sequence, I remember my satisfaction when I wore the look to a summer concert, of the boy-band variety, of course. 😉 This time around, it was summer fun at Balboa Parkin San Diego, CA. (more…)
I am excited to share the blog pics for this week because they were taken in San Diego, CA! My BFF, Tammy, volunteered to be my photographer. We had discussed locations for the shoot and initially we had planned to take shots in the desert, but we got sidetracked by a drag show.(more…)
