For Poe’s passion was writing and he was determined to earn a living wage through his fictions. Ever since I commenced this blog in 2015, I feel like I am constantly chasing time. Last month, my intent was to post a main blog post with part 2 of my New Orleans adventure with my Forever BFF, Tammy, but as always, time was fleeting. Now, it’s October and I have “Ghostober” posts perfect for the month of Halloween. These posts can’t be delayed and as such, my main blog post shall linger into November. After the Bar Mitvah I wrote about last week, my dad and I spent the rest of the afternoon taking blog pictures. To take full advantage of time and weather, we take pictures for 3-4 weeks worth of blog entries. It makes for a long afternoon, but it is well worth the effort to avoid having to take pictures every weekend. (more…)
What attracted me to these heels were the snake-embossed patent leather bands that crisscross the sandals. I thought they were pretty unique at the time of purchase in 2013. In classic black, I could already see dressing them up for the office or dressing them down with a pair of jeans.
An abundance of confidence is a good thing, right? I believe so. I’m a pretty confident person, but sometimes the things I’m most confident about should be the things I practice with humility and restraint. Unfortunately, I never realize this until after the fact. (more…)
As you can imagine, one of my favorite things to do is peruse shoes online. I actually prefer to buy online because in most instances, the shoes come directly from the warehouse. I like the feeling of knowing my feet are the first to slip into the shoes. The worst feeling is getting new shoes that have been tried on and stretched. Gross. (more…)
