Shoespiration – Guess Aurela Lace Up Sandals

Ever since I commenced this blog in 2015, I feel like I am constantly chasing time.  Last month, my intent was to post a main blog post with part 2 of my New Orleans adventure with my Forever BFF, Tammy, but as always, time was fleeting.  Now, it’s October and I have “Ghostober” posts perfect for the month of Halloween.  These posts can’t be delayed and as such, my main blog post shall linger into November.  Though, I’m sure that’s ok, right?  As long as I continue to post new content?  😉

And despite being October, lately the weather still feels like summer outside.  As much as I love fall, it’s frankly too hot for sweater and boots photo shoots.  As such, my ode to summer continues.

This is the second of three outfits we shot at a naval air museum in Southern Maryland.  The first was featured in my Fourth of July post.  This one features the very sexy Guess Aurela lace up sandals.  I purchased these sky high, approximately 4-inch stiletto heels about a year or so ago, so I have been eager to feature them on the blog.

I paired the sandals with gingham shorts and a white top with cute gingham details to match the shorts.  It is a very easy breezy outfit.

The half inch platform make the sandals decently comfortable.  My favorite part of the heels is the ghillie lace design.  They make the sandals look very chic!  I felt so tall and sexy in these heels.  I truly adore heels that lengthen my short legs!

Now, for a more formal appeal, pair the heels with a little black dress and you’ll be ready to paint the town red. 🙂

Style with a Smile!

This is the Kaman SH-2G Super Seasprite.  It was a powerful helicopter with an array of sensors and weapons that was retired in 2001.  It made for an nice backdrop for pictures. 🙂
