Lizzy’s Latest – White House Black Market Evie Sandals
What attracted me to these heels were the snake-embossed patent leather bands that crisscross the sandals. I thought they were pretty unique at the time of purchase in 2013. In classic black, I could already see dressing them up for the office or dressing them down with a pair of jeans.
I bought these around the time White House Black Market (WHBM) updated their shoe design by adding a footbed for comfort. The footbed makes all the difference too. It is part of the reason why I continue to buy shoes from WHBM.
These heels are approximately 4 inches with a .75 inch platform. They are comfortable for the most part. Though, they begin to feel a little tight around the pinky toes after wearing them for a few hours.
These heels have a stretch buckle, but I rarely have to un-buckle because my feet slip right in. Unfortunately, these heels are no longer available. However, I found something similar here and here.
Black patent heels are a classic must have for any heel lover’s closet. I highly recommend getting a pair if you don’t already have something similar. Though, if you’re a shoe addict like me, you probably already have several pairs! 🙂
