SURPRISE! Lizzy’s Latest is back! 😊 I guess by now, y’all are used to my inconsistent postings. I apologize for that. 2022 has been a very unusual year for me and my family. Two health crises, both unexpected, one resolved (thank God) and the other still uncertain, have dominated my family’s life this year. I’ve had quite the adventure these last several weeks. With spring in full swing and the weather staying consistently nice, the shopping bug hit me! I’ve been sooooooo good since Christmas and I gave up shopping for Lent. So, I was seriously itching for some retail therapy after Easter. I told myself I would remain disciplined, but then one pair of heels became two pairs of heels. Then, three pairs of heels became four pairs of heels. And after the fifth pair, I stopped counting. When I began my blog journey some years ago, our go-to destination for photo shoots was Richmond, VA. Richmond is steeped in Civil War history and remnants of the Old South’s charm still feel warm and inviting. Its allure has captured my heart and it’s the only city that draws me back time and time again. (more…)
Back in late April, I received a collaboration request from Holysouq, an online family owned business in Jerusalem specializing in handcrafted leather products such as handbags, leather accessories, and souvenirs. Camel, their shoe division, specializes in a variety of summer flat sandals for women and men. Their sandals are handmade by an expert team of crafters using only green materials in their production process. (more…)
