Happy Valentine’s Day, my lovelies! How fitting it is that this day of love falls on the start of the Lenten season. There is no greater example of love than God’s love for humanity that He would sacrifice His only Son, Jesus, for our sins so that we may have eternal life.
In my last post I shared the details of my Salem girls trip with my besties. Well, there was more to the trip…in Boston! On our way to Salem, we had to pick up my childhood Forever BFF, Tammy, at Logan Airport. Her flight came in late, so we had some time to check out sites in Boston. Of course, my penchant for history led us to the Boston Tea Party Ships and Museum.
HAPPY NEW YEAR to my family, friends, followers, and visitors! As usual, I’m fashionably late with posting. Sigh! I hope y’all had a great holiday! Christmas here was a little smaller because my brother, Michael, and his family were not able to make it up from NC this year. So, my annual Christmas pic with the kiddies was replaced with a snap of me with the rest of my family. (more…)
Hello, my lovelies! I can’t tell you how excited I am to feature the INC Kenjay pumps on the blog. I’ve had the heels for some time now, but could not find the perfect outfit. This look came together a bit organically. I think I found the green coated jeans first and then the sweater, both from White House Black Market (on sale!). However, pics are always about the angles and Dad has become a bit of a pro at finding the right angles…or perhaps it’s me telling him to take more pics. Haha…sorry, Dad! We’ll just say it’s a combination of both. 😉 (more…)
Lately, it seems every weekend I plan to take pictures, the weather turns cold. The weekend of this photo shoot was no exception. The temperature stayed in the 30s and the wind was gusty for the majority of the shoot. However, with St. Patrick’s Day in March, I was determined to share this cute asymmetrical green skirt. 🙂 (more…)
I used to have a fondness for wedge sandals until a conversation with a male friend had me re-thinking my attachment to them. According to this fellow, wedge sandals are the antithesis of sexy. Sexiness to him is a woman in stiletto heels. Given my love of stilettos, I could not argue with him there. However, his aversion to wedges almost ruined my affinity for them! (more…)
When I was growing up, I was a handful. My mom told me I was a wild child with mischievous tendencies and a stubborn will. At a young age, I remember being a curious kid eager to explore the world despite my mom’s attempt to keep me within her parental boundaries. My independent nature certainly kept my mom on her toes because any lapse in her attention often resulted in unintended situations. (more…)
