Lately, it seems every weekend I plan to take pictures, the weather turns cold. The weekend of this photo shoot was no exception. The temperature stayed in the 30s and the wind was gusty for the majority of the shoot. However, with St. Patrick’s Day in March, I was determined to share this cute asymmetrical green skirt. 🙂

At dinner with my parents a month ago, Mom asked if I could print a Kohls coupon for her. I assured her I would, and thought nothing more of it. As we continued talking, Mom started nudging Dad and giggling. I could tell Dad did not want to acknowledge what was unspoken between them. Of course, that piqued my curiosity prompting me to ask:
The weekend we took these pictures, we had no particular destination in mind. Surrendering to wanderlust, we headed to Richmond, our default destination for adventure. Eventually, we settled on the Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden named after one of Richmond’s beloved citizens.
Back in early December, my dad sent me, my mom, brother, and sister separate emails with the following question: “Who in our family is the most excited by, desirous of, jazzed over toys?” Our response was unanimous: MOM! Yes, even Mom said, “Mom.” 😉
