Lizzy’s Latest – Brookside Gardens – HAPPY 4TH OF JULY, AMERICA!

Happy Birthday, America!!!  249 years young!  It was on this day back in 1776 that 56 men representing the 13 original colonies signed the Declaration of Independence.  This new nation would no longer acquiesce to the whims of a tyrannical British monarch under King George III.  Rather, our independence from Britain established the greatest nation in the history of the world.  And the countdown to the United States’ 250th birthday (Semiquincentennial) on July 4, 2026 has commenced!  Guided by Task Force 250, the salute toAmerica will be a year full of festivities celebrating our great nation.  🙂

Lizzy’s Latest – Happy Easter 2025

HAPPY EASTER, my family, friends, followers, and visitors!  I know it has been quite some time since my last post.  I apologize for the inconsistency of Lizzy’s Latest publishing schedule.  I know many of you have asked if I’m still doing the blog and I am!  I would certainly tell you if I ever decided to stop publishing content.  It’s just that life is so busy these days and I’m dealing with an ergonomic injury.  Ugh!!!  Totally my fault…I have had poor posture in front of my work computer working from home since the pandemic.  So, I’m taking steps to heal my body now.  That’s part of the reason why my posts have been slow to publish.  I simply don’t wanna be in front of a computer after I log off from work and risk aggravating my left shoulder blade more.

So, I appreciate your patience and continued support!  🙂  In fact, we continue to do photo shoots throughout the year.  I have a backlog of heels and adventures I want to share with all of you.  I promise they will be posted in time!

In the meantime, Easter was a beautiful day in Southern MD.  We went to Mass and then headed out to do a quick photo shoot for this heel/outfit combo I wore to church this morning.  I love the heels!  They are the Nine West Noras in a rose/pink hue.  The sculpted heels are divine as are the embellished adjustable ankle strap for that pop of bling!  At approximately 3.5 inches in height, they are pretty comfy to walk in too.  I paired the heels with this colorful dress.  This outfit screams spring/summer and I am ready!  🙂

My brother, Michael, was in town not too long ago.  His son, my Godson, Andrew, plays soccer competitively and was in the area for some games.  So, the whole family met up for an early dinner.  It was a great time!Family reunion with parents, sister, Eva, with her baby son, Holden, brother, Michael, me, and Godson, Andrew.
Andrew’s soooo tall!  At least 6′ now!

Hope y’all have a wonderful week!  ! I’m so happy to be connecting with all of you again!  Until next time, enjoy the pics!  🙂

XoXo,

Lizzy

PS:  You may have noticed that Lizzy’s Latest hasn’t been accessible on a cell phone for months now.  Though, the website can be reached on a computer.  I was gonna investigate that on Easter when I had planned to publish this post, but I was locked out of the website!  After watching a bunch of YouTube vids, I managed to get in today, but there are still issues with the blog that I need to resolve.  Sigh!!!  Just know, I am working on it.

I’m slowly acclimating back to blogging after so much time off.  It’s all coming back to me now.  😉 In my previous post, I mentioned I wasn’t sure if I would do a review of these heels because I’d like to move on to fall shoes.  In the end, I decided to write a review post because I had more pics in this shoot to share.  So, why not? Lizzy’s Latest – Ghostober Fun!

SURPRISE!  Lizzy’s Latest is back!  😊  I guess by now, y’all are used to my inconsistent postings.  I apologize for that.  2022 has been a very unusual year for me and my family.  Two health crises, both unexpected, one resolved (thank God) and the other still uncertain, have dominated my family’s life this year.  We’ve acclimated to our new normal, but it can still be scary at times.  Yet, our faith is strong.  And with faith, comes so much hope.  (more…)
