Hello, my lovelies! I can’t tell you how excited I am to feature the INC Kenjay pumps on the blog. I’ve had the heels for some time now, but could not find the perfect outfit. This look came together a bit organically. I think I found the green coated jeans first and then the sweater, both from White House Black Market (on sale!). I wasn’t sure about the sweater because it is so voluminous and my petite frame always seems to drown in “big” tops. However, pics are always about the angles and Dad has become a bit of a pro at finding the right angles…or perhaps it’s me telling him to take more pics. Haha…sorry, Dad! We’ll just say it’s a combination of both. 😉 (more…)
HAPPY NEW YEAR to all my family, friends, followers, and visitors! 2021 will be an epic year, I can feel it! 😉 Do y’all do resolutions? I do not. Resolutions are so easily broken. Haha! Instead, I focus on being a better version of myself than the previous year. For 2021, that will entail getting out of my comfort zone, particularly when it comes to nature. (more…)
Happy New Year, family, friends, followers, AND first time visitors! I’m always nostalgic this time of year and ever so grateful for your love, friendship, and loyalty. 2019 was a great year at Lizzy’s Latest. (more…)

Almost every year around Christmastime, my childhood friend, Lee, brings up Mardi Gras. And every time he brings it up, I hesitate because I loathe crowds and rarely drink. I would always tell him, “Maybe next year.” To which he would respond, “Liz, you need to get out more.” (more…)
Edgar Allan Poe remained true to his art. He had so many opportunities to lead a life of practicality, but he always found ways to flee complacency. For Poe’s passion was writing and he was determined to earn a living wage through his fictions. He would be the first American writer to attempt this, but his efforts never translated to enduring financial success. (more…)
It is that time of year again when summer’s farewell lingers like the final notes of a beautifully composed piece of music. The ambience is sublime and filled with mirthful memories of time well spent. Holding on for one more hurrah and always one more until there is no more. Parting is such sweet sorrow tempered by fall’s inevitable tomorrow. Enticed, fall captivates with colorful landscapes and dancing leaves that fall from above. The aroma of burning wood on crisp evenings signals the start of sweater weather, boots, and everything else we love about this new season. For me, it is all of the above and of course, the annual Lizzy’s Latest Top 5 Fall Favorites! (more…)
There’s a back story to these beautiful heels. I had been eyeing them on the Boston Proper website for almost a year, but hesitated to purchase them because I’d never purchased Pelle Moda shoes. I didn’t know how they would feel on my feet and I didn’t want the hassle of returning them by mail. (more…)
