Shoespiration – Aldo Dadossa Cut Out Pumps

We were supposed to get a mix of snow and rain this weekend, but fortunately, that did not come to fruition.  Instead, the day was brisk.  Temperatures remained in the 40s with a mix of sun and clouds.  Brrr!!!

As such, we were able to fit in a quick photo shoot for a heel/outfit combo that will only post on Instagram this Saturday.  I started these Instagram only posts back in the summertime.  It’s another way for me to stay connected with y’all in between blog posts and also share shoes that may never be featured on the blog or were previously featured, but remixed with a new outfit.  I haven’t been consistent with these posts, but I hope to be more consistent once the weather gets warmer.

So, if you follow me here and/or on Facebook, but not on Instagram, please consider following Lizzy’s Latest on Instagram.  There is a lot of engagement on Instagram and you’ll also get the bonus weekend posts.  Link to Lizzy’s Latest Instagram is on the right sidebar or bottom of page depending on what device you’re using to view this post.  Thank you as always for your support!  And if you’re a blogger and would like me to follow you too, just let me know and we can support each other.  🙂

In the meantime, feast your eyes on these fabulous animal print cut-out pumps from Aldo!  They made Lizzy’s Latest Top 5 Fall Favorites list back in September and I’ve been wanting to feature them for some time now.

The heels are approximately 3.5 inches and are quite comfortable.  They are traditional pumps, but with a cut out wrapped heel design.  This combined with the animal print hue truly elevates the heel from ordinary to extraordinary.

I paired them with a black top with dramatic arms and these red hot faux suede leggings.  My goal was to have just a pop of animal print to pump up the sexiness of the look without overwhelming it.  I believe this look accomplishes that.  What do you think?

So, if you’re on the fence about animal prints, this could be one way to incorporate them into your style without making you feel consumed by the trend.  Personally, I felt so sexy in this look!  It’s one of my favorite looks for the blog.

We had this photo shoot back in November at Smallwood State Park here in Southern Maryland.  It’s one of the many places we go to when we stay close to home for quick shoots.

I love how the colors at the park compliment this look.  And when we saw that red tree, I was so excited to take shots in front of it.  Unfortunately, we were still novices at using the Canon Rebel T6i and could not get the camera to focus correctly.  So, none of those pics came out to my liking.  However, I included one at the bottom of this post to give y’all a look at the beauty of that tree.  I’d like to try again this Fall now that we are a little better at handling this camera.  😉

Have a wonderful week!

Style with a Smile!
