Lizzy’s Latest: Vince Camuto Abrianna Slouch Booties

My search for white boots had been ongoing over the last few years.  I was looking for a slouchy pair with stiletto heels that were at least 3 inches.  Unfortunately, most I came across were block heels.  They were nice, but did not fit my criteria.  Then, one mundane Monday I came across these beauties and the day quickly turned exciting.  Vince Camuto read my mind when they created the Abrianna Slouch booties!  With a shoe sale going on at Macy’s, I quickly selected my size and added this pair to my cart.

When they arrived, I couldn’t contain my happiness.  They were so pretty in person and the leather was oh so soft!  As I slid my foot into the bootie, I felt so sexy!  These booties had a way of elevating my mood and I couldn’t wait to find an outfit.

The boots, in this antique white shade, have a retro chic vibe to them.  I could imagine someone in the 60s wearing these boots.  My dad agreed and suggested a white eyelash textured sweater to add to the retro vibe.  I eventually found one around Christmas time and paired it with a blue skirt and nude micro fishnet tights.  This heel/outfit combo was set!

Now, we just needed one warm day in January.  😉  Monitoring the weather reports, it looked like our best day would be New Year’s Day.  Temps promised to be in the upper 50s near 60.  Unfortunately, the day came and it remained in the lower to mid-50s.  Now, this would have been tolerable, but the biting and incessant wind kept it feeling colder and chilled me to the bone.

Despite the cold, the show must go on.  So, Dad and I drove around Southern Maryland hunting for a spot to take pictures.  I remembered my best guy friend, William, had told me about a spot on the water in Port Tobacco, so we headed there.  It wasn’t much, but it would do.

I had to be careful on the narrow boat slip as the wind was blowing and I didn’t want to fall into the water on a misstep.  Even Dad was worried as he continued to tell me to “watch my step” and “slow down.”

With me, there is never any slowing down.  Fortunately, the booties were quite comfortable as I ran around like I usually do because I’m such a ball of energy.  The approximately 3-inch heels were perfect for this environment.  I felt confident, happy, and playful.  And, I did not fall in the water.  😉

The booties are still available, but in limited quantity here and here.  They also come in other colors if this shade doesn’t tickle your fancy.  You may also want to do an internet search for “Vince Camuto Abrianna Slouch Booties” to continue your search.

I feel every girl needs a pair of white booties in her shoe collection.  Why not these?  😉  Have a great rest of your week!  Thank you for stopping by.  🙂

Style with a smile!

My dad was quite taken by the background in these last shots. He said it reminds him of an Alaskan background.
