Happy Valentine’s Day, my lovelies! How fitting it is that this day of love falls on the start of the Lenten season. There is no greater example of love than God’s love for humanity that He would sacrifice His only Son, Jesus, for our sins so that we may have eternal life.
HAPPY NEW YEAR to my family, friends, followers, and visitors! I suppose by now, you’re used to me arriving fashionably late. 😉 I always seem to be chasing time…story of my life. Sigh…but, I can never stay away for too long. The connection I have with you here always draws me back. 😊 And I couldn’t wait to share the set from this photo shoot! The paranormal has always intrigued me and my dad. Although, we don’t participate in any occult practices, we love wandering around haunted places, taking ghost tours, and exploring graveyards and cemeteries to indulge our taphophile hearts. (more…)

These shots were taken the week after Thanksgiving. I usually take that week off to do the majority of my Christmas shopping and put up the tree. When I noticed one of the days was going to be a balmy 50 degrees, I asked Dad if he could take the day off for a photo shoot. Dad was game and when I suggested the Lincoln Memorial, he was ecstatic. Dad had been wanting to photograph at this location since I started my blog in 2015. It was the perfect time of year too with minimal crowds. (more…)
