Lizzy’s Latest: Guess Bizzy Strappy Pumps

There are plenty of options for black patent pumps, but finding the one takes a lot of patience and sometimes a dose of serendipity.  One day, as I perused shoes on the internet, these caught my eye.  The wraparound ankle straps look so stylish with sexy stiletto heels.  In black patent, this swank shoe quickly became a “gotta have it” pair for me.

I matched the heels with a plaid skirt and black top for a boss babe vibe.  Feeling fabulously chic and confident, we found a spot in Southern Maryland to capture these shots.  They were taken on New Year’s Day, the same day we had the photo shoot for the Vince Camuto Abrianna slouch booties.  To recall, the weather was supposed to be near 60, but the ceaseless wind kept the day feeling brisk.

Despite, I ignored the cold and we took pictures as quickly as possible.  The heels are a comfortable height at approximately 3.5 inches.  I felt so tall wearing them that day.  It was a great feeling because I love feeling tall.  🙂

Unfortunately, the availability of these pumps are limited.  However, you can find them here and here in limited sizes and colors.  You can also do an internet search for “Guess Bizzy Strappy Pumps” to continue your search.

One last thing to note.  I’ve been getting some questions about what I’m wearing on my legs, if anything.  For those interested parties, I am wearing pantyhose.  For me, it is too cold in the wintertime to go barelegged.  So, I shield my legs from the elements with hosiery.  I prefer a nude shade that adds a little color to my pale legs.  I always choose a color that is light enough to give the appearance of going barelegged.  That’s the trick!  I do love the filter of pantyhose because they make my legs look so sleek.  In these shots, I am wearing Hanes Silk Reflections Silky Sheer in Little Color.

What are your thoughts on pantyhose?  I’m curious to know!
