Lizzy’s Latest – INC International Concepts Reidi Two-Piece Sandals
In all my San Diego excitement, I forgot to mention where the pics for this week’s blog were taken: The Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, DC. The National Shrine is across the street from Catholic University and the Franciscan Monastery where my blog pics from the last three weeks were taken.
The National Shrine is a stunning basilica! It is of Romanesque-Byzantine style and according to its website, “distinctively American.” It is the largest Roman Catholic church in all of North America and is the site where Pope Francis will canonize Father Junipero Serra on September 23, 2015.
Dad and I got here after 5PM after a long day of taking blog pics at the Franciscan Monastery. Although a bit tired, we persevered and got really nice shots with this heel/outfit combo. I absolutely love the pop of chartreuse (similar to a neon lime-yellow) paired with black joggers (Athleta) and a printed halter top (INC International Concepts). The heels really take this outfit up a fashion notch!
The heels are quite comfortable too with a very decent footbed. The heel height is my perfect height: approximately 3.75 inches. Round toe and leather upper, these sandals can be dressed up or dressed down or somewhere in between. They are that versatile! Dress up a pair of joggers like I did or wear them with jeans for an evening out. They would look great with shorts and skirts too. 🙂
I only bought these a month or so ago and I see they are already sold out at Macy’s. I found a similar heel here and here (though not same colors).
