Lizzy’s Latest – Jessica Simpson Lyndy Slouchy Boots

It was love at first sight when I discovered these boots online.  I adored them so much, I included them on Lizzy’s Latest Top 5 Fall Favorites back in September.  What I didn’t like was the $120 price tag.  Eventually, I caught a sale and purchased them at a 30% discount.  🙂

When the boots arrived, it was like Christmas day.  I ripped open the package with so much excitement and anticipation.  And when I unwrapped the boots, I was not disappointed.  The red shade is a vibrant red, just enough to command attention, but still be demure.  😉

The approximately 4-inch stiletto heels are super sexy.  I’ve always preferred stiletto heels to block heels simply because I feel sexier in stilettos.  The only complaint I have is that these boots lack a cushioned footbed.  Despite, they are still mostly comfortable given the heel height.  In fact, I bought them in black too and am wearing them today as I write this.

I also adore the slouchy styling of this boot.  There is something about a slouchy boot that is so boho chic and feminine.  I feel like this boot speaks perfectly to my personality:  fun and flirty.  🙂

Unfortunately, the boot is selling out fast and it doesn’t look like it is readily available in red.  I found limited inventory here and here.  You may also want to do an internet search for “Jessica Simpson Lyndy Slouchy Boots” to continue your search.

I paired the boots with a black mini skirt and festive red top.  It was so much fun twirling in this outfit because of the top’s dramatic sleeves.  I wore black fishnet pantyhose to complete the look.  I wanted give this look extra pizzazz and I believe the fishnets did it.

By the way, this photo shoot took place at the Annmarie Sculpture Garden in Solomon’s Island, MD.  The rocks featured in this shoot remind me a little of England’s Stonehenge.  These rocks are very popular for weddings and I was happy to finally get my chance to use them as a backdrop for this look and another upcoming look.  The last time we were here, this area was reserved for a wedding.

And I would be remiss if I didn’t mention the beautiful weather we had that day.  It had been cold and it was going to get colder that last week in November, so color me content when we got one beautiful day in the 60s.  It was the perfect afternoon for a photo shoot.

Merry Christmas and/or Happy Holidays, my beautiful family, friends and followers.  I truly appreciate your support.  🙂

Style with a smile!
