Lizzy’s Latest – My torturedSoles Sole Sister

Back in the summer, I received a text from my dear friend, Kimberly.  She is the founder and owner of torturedSoles, a wonderful 100% women owned company specializing in non-slip shoe pads.  These scientifically developed pads are the BEST solution to feet discomfort and pain.  They are great for women AND men.

In the text, Kimberly alerted me to look out for a package from her.  She had mailed me a FunSize Party box.  I was surprised and excited.  What could be in this party box?!  I was also so grateful she thought of me and thanked her for the gift.  She told me it was a new product in the lineup marketed for wedding gifts.  I couldn’t wait to receive it!

When it arrived, I was like a little girl on Christmas day so eager to open it!  And the package is exquisite!  A simple black box with the beautiful torturedSoles logo.

The contents are so thoughtful for weddings, bachelorette, and bachelor parties.  Items include:

  • tortuedSoles trademark Polka Dot Anti-Slip Pads (I use these frequently and will recommend them to anyone and everyone who will listen.)

  • Shoe Gel Pads – great for ball of feet pain.

  • Stainless Steel Flask (engraving for an additional charge) – need I say more? 😉

  • Travel Case – full of more goodies including a buffing cloth for patent leather shoes, lint roller, and cleaning brushes

  • Handbag/Coat Table Hook – hand decorated with Swarovski crystals for that pop of bling! And you have your choice of colors for the crystals.

Access the torturedSoles website from their logo on my right sidebar (if you’re on a computer) or scroll down (if you’re on your cell) .  You can also find the site here.  Select from “FunSize Party Box:  Socks” for men and “FunSize Party Box: Stilettos” for women.  There are two options.  Option 1 includes everything and Option 2 is customizable.  You can also add other products like the engraving and a very cool natural buffalo shoe horn that my dad stole from the box as soon as I opened it!

And a treat for all of you just in time for the holidays!  In our ongoing collaboration between Lizzy’s Latest and torturedSoles, y’all can continue enjoying a 50% discount off any and all torturedSoles products.  Just use the code, “LIZZY” at checkout!

One of my favorite parts about being a blogger is meeting new people and forming new friendships.  I have known Kimberly since our inaugural collaboration in the fall of 2017.  You can read it here.  Since our first meeting, we clicked immediately and have become fast friends.

I will always remember the first time I re-ordered the polka dot anti-slip pads and Kimberly just happened to be in the DC area (she lives in NJ).  My sweet friend hand delivered the package to my front door with a lovely note and some extras in my package!  Unfortunately, I was still at work and missed her, but it left a really good feeling in me about the type of person she is.  How dedicated she is to her company while still working a full time job!  Also, how loyal she is to her friends.  That day, Kimberly and I became sole sisters.  🙂

torturedSoles hit another milestone too.  You can now shop torturedSoles products on Amazon.  Link is here!

As this is a shoe blog, I would be remiss if I didn’t mention these beautiful Vince Camuto plum orchid Maveena pumps.  The rich hue caught my eye and I adore stilettos in patent leather because I love the shine.  They are my perfect heel height at approximately 3.75 inches.  The pump is comfortable and keeps my foot in place with the ankle strap.  I walked around all afternoon in these without complaint.  Unfortunately, they are pretty much sold out everywhere.  You may have some luck doing an internet search for “Vince Camuto Maveena pumps.”

I paired the heels with a similar hued skirt and a floral top.  I was thinking office chic with this look.  You could also wear the heels with jeans and a dressy top for a more casual chic vibe.  These heels would look great with dresses too.

This photo shoot took place in Fredericksburg, VA.  Fredericksburg has been our go-to location since the summertime.  It is a hidden gem outside the Beltway full of history and intrigue.  I am certain we will return for future blog posts too.

Have a great rest of your week and a safe weekend!

Style with a Smile!

XoXo,

Lizzy

These last shots were taken at the reconstructed Lincoln steps. President Abraham Lincoln was in Fredericksburg on May 23, 1862 and ascended these steps that once led to the Fredericksburg’s National Bank Building.
