Lizzy’s Latest – Inc Kenjay d’Orsay Pumps
Hello, my lovelies! I can’t tell you how excited I am to feature the INC Kenjay pumps on the blog. I’ve had the heels for some time now, but could not find the perfect outfit. This look came together a bit organically. I think I found the green coated jeans first and then the sweater, both from White House Black Market (on sale!). I wasn’t sure about the sweater because it is so voluminous and my petite frame always seems to drown in “big” tops. However, pics are always about the angles and Dad has become a bit of a pro at finding the right angles…or perhaps it’s me telling him to take more pics. Haha…sorry, Dad! We’ll just say it’s a combination of both. 😉
We stayed local and headed to Smallwood State Park in Southern Maryland. It’s one of our go-to destinations when we stay in the area. It’s named after General William Smallwood, the highest ranked Marylander in the Revolutionary War.
The spot for this photo shoot was new. We’d never taken pictures in this area and it definitely had that cabin in the woods creepy vibe! 😉 We didn’t venture too far into the woods because it did feel a little isolated. However, we quickly acclimated to our surroundings and got to work.
These heels are so fabulous! I love the pearl details. It’s what caught my eye when I first saw these heels online. I had to have them because they are so unique looking. I also adore the green hue. I don’t have very many green colored shoes.
Of course, y’all know how much I LOVE stiletto heels and these are PERFECT at my favorite heel height of 3.75 inches. They were comfortable and I felt so pretty walking around in these pumps.

I paired the heels with this outfit for a chic look, but you can also pair the heels with skirts and dresses. For a more edgy style, wear a pair of shorts and nylons with these pumps. And for a more casual look, pair them with jeans. These heels are that versatile.

Oh these ARE gorgeous! I can see why you love them. The pearl details are so luxe and they look great with the leggings! And I have the same problem with my heels and my second toe is longer then my first so it really creates problems even with flats. I need straps, zippers or laces, most slip ons are an issue unless like you I doctor them.

Gosh…it’s definitely shoe love Lizzy!! And it’s funny that I would have never thought they were green. They white part is what grabs my attention and I thought the background was grey!!!

Yes, my fellow shoe lover, it is! Lol! I guess from afar, they could look grey, but the heels are green. Yes, the white pearls are so elegant and my favorite too. So glad you dig this look, Jodie! Lesley too?! torturedSoles is great … and I can make the adhesives last for several uses. You could even put in the shoe for a longer life, but I prefer using them on nylons or bare skin. Aside from Lizzy’s being an exceedingly attractive model, she has invested in quality photographic equipment. That and the fact that we typically take 50+ pictures for each one that eventually winds up on the blog deserve 99% of the credit for the excellence of the final product seen here. The one thing that I do take credit for is patience. It takes lot of it to take so many pictures. As Lizzy can attest, patience isn’t and has never been one of my strong suits, lol.
Ps, this photoset was taken in October. We ventured to this locale hoping to find some colorful fall foliage, but as you can see, we didn’t find it. It may as well have been summer. There were also plenty of campers/tourists hanging about staying in cabins like the one we used as a backdrop. I suppose they found us as out of place as we did them.

That’s right! No fall foliage, just the creepy cabin in the woods. Haha! We did finally see the campers at the other cabins, but fortunately, they remained out of the way and just observed from afar. As you said, they probably found us out of place. Lol!
