Shoespiration – Jessica Simpson Willren Dress Sandals – Red State of Mind

Last weekend, we were blessed with magnificent weather.  Low humidity and temps in the upper 70s.  Of course, we took advantage of this with multiple photo shoots.  We spent Saturday in Richmond and stayed local on Sunday.  I will detail the Richmond shoots when I feature those heels.

These heels, the Jessica Simpson Willren dress sandals, were shot locally.  It was about an hour before sunset, so we didn’t have a lot of time.  My intent for this shoot was for an Instagram only post, but I really liked how the pics came out.  Dad did a great job!  The lighting was perfect, as it always is about an hour or so before sunset.  So, we got more than a couple great pics.  As such, I decided to feature the heels in a Shoespiration segment.

What I love about these heels is the mesh detail!  It’s so unique and chic!  The stiletto heels are approximately 4 inches, but they don’t feel that high.  To me, they are that comfortable!  I also adore the red hue!  I find red a very powerful, sexy, and confident color.  Wouldn’t you agree?  😉 

Since it felt like summer last Sunday, I had to give my denim short-shorts one last spin before my gams go into hibernation!  LOL!  I paired them with a red print smock top and toe-less pantyhose to give my pale legs some color.  This look is easy breezy, effortless style.  I was ready to go.    

We went to a bus station (we’ve been here before) and got to work on this electrical box (I’ve posed on this before, here).  We had the perfect fall tree in the background and when the waning sunlight was shining on it, it created a beautiful backdrop for these pictures.  I truly love this time of year!

Have a great weekend!  The weather will be back to fall temperatures here in the DMV.  I think I may channel Betty Crocker and bake some cookies this weekend.  I’m a chocoholic and I am craving chocolate right now!  As always, stay safe and healthy, my family, friends, followers, and guests!
