Back in the summer, I received a text from my dear friend, Kimberly. She is the founder and owner of torturedSoles, a wonderful 100% women owned company specializing in non-slip shoe pads. These scientifically developed pads are the BEST solution to feet discomfort and pain. They are great for women AND men. (more…)
Family is one of God’s greatest gifts in life. When my cousin, Caroline, received the Sacrament of Confirmation last month, I had the honor of being her sponsor. In the Roman Catholic tradition, Confirmation is the moment we receive the Holy Spirit and acknowledge our commitment to the Catholic faith. (more…)
When I began my blog journey some years ago, our go-to destination for photo shoots was Richmond, VA. Richmond is steeped in Civil War history and remnants of the Old South’s charm still feel warm and inviting. Its allure has captured my heart and it’s the only city that draws me back time and time again. (more…)
Fall has arrived, but summer still persists. Yet in time, its dissipating warmth eases the transition to the new season. I’m excited and enticed as fall captivates with colorful landscapes. This truly is my favorite time of year! I love watching the leaves change colors and fall from the trees in an enchanting dance with the wind. I love the aroma of burning wood on chilly nights. It is the start of boot season, sweater weather, football, great fashion, and more! I adore it all and, of course, Lizzy’s Latest annual Top 5 Fall Favorites! (more…)
I hope y’all had a wonderful weekend. My weekend was full of adventure. If you read my Gettysburg post, I called out my best guy friend, William. Booth found his way to Southern Maryland seeking help from Dr. Samuel A. Mudd to treat his broken leg. (more…)
Summer vibes continue on the blog. This week, Lizzy’s Latest Shoespiration segment is back featuring the Sam Edelman Omar sandals. I’ve always been a fan of neon colors (hello 80s!) especially in the summertime and this year, neon has been trending. (more…)
I hope y’all are enjoying this summer. I apologize for my absence … again! It’s been an adventurous summer filled with work, photo shoots, and travel. I have so much content waiting for me to prepare and share. I just need to find some time to work on them and I will find the time. Though, I have a feeling these summer posts may linger into fall. 😉 (more…)
Sometimes chance encounters are fated to spark spontaneous adventures. While photo shooting at a recreated Union encampment at the Dr. Samuel A. Mudd House Museum in Southern, Maryland, an unassuming man rode towards us in his ATV. Dad, my photographer, worried he would kick us off the set. (more…)
It’s been a long while…I know! I apologize for my absence from the blog last month. May was unusually busy for me. I was in South Carolina the beginning of the month for my niece, Kristin’s, First Holy Communion. I had a one week reprieve before heading up to New York City for my sister, Jeanette’s, graduate school graduation from Columbia University. My little sister is an Ivy Leaguer. 🙂 I had another short reprieve before I was on the road again for a few days of rest and relaxation in Virginia Beach. And before I knew it, May was gone. (more…)
