HAPPY 4TH of JULY, my family, friends, followers, and visitors! It is Independence Day here in the United States. It was on this day 248 years ago that 13 courageous colonies declared their independence from Great Britain (July 4, 1776). HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!
While photo shooting a few weekends ago, we encountered this skeleton emerging from a manhole. It was part of a Halloween display decorating the town of La Plata, MD. As soon as I saw it, I knew it would make a great prop poking tongue in cheek fun at all the shoe and feet enthusiasts out there. As a shoe blogger, you can imagine the types of messages I get from these admirers…perhaps, that will be a future blog post! 😉

Are y’all surprised to hear from me so soon?! 😉 I’m truly trying to make up for all this lost time. This summer was hectic with work, summer adventures, and photo shoots. Although I didn’t post much these last couple of months, we were still taking pictures for the blog. I have a backlog of content from past summers and this summer to share. My dad is of the mindset that summer looks can be posted anytime of year. I tend to like to share outfits that complement the current season. Perhaps there can be a compromise. What do you think?
