Hello, my lovelies! Lizzy’s Latest is finally back with a new post! It always seems to take forever these days to finish a post with life pulling me in so many different directions. Yet, no matter how much time has passed, I return. I truly appreciate your patience during these long absences from the blog. I have so much content and not a lot of idle time anymore. These shots were taken the week after Thanksgiving. I usually take that week off to do the majority of my Christmas shopping and put up the tree. When I noticed one of the days was going to be a balmy 50 degrees, I asked Dad if he could take the day off for a photo shoot. Dad was game and when I suggested the Lincoln Memorial, he was ecstatic. Dad had been wanting to photograph at this location since I started my blog in 2015. It was the perfect time of year too with minimal crowds. (more…)
