After Easter, I went a little overboard with shoe shopping. I bought around 10 pairs of shoes in one sitting! These sky-high heels were in that bunch. I’ve never featured Jessica Simpson heels on the blog because a lot of her heels are too high for me and not necessarily the most comfortable. However, I took a chance on this pair because I love red stiletto heels and I wanted to pair them with this beautiful floral romper.
I’m so glad I took that chance because they are absolutely gorgeous on my feet! Yes, they are high at approximately 5 inches, but the 1 inch platform keeps them comfortable. I wore them for a good part of the afternoon without any discomfort. However, I could feel my ankles getting weak by the end of the shoot and was relieved to trade them in for a pair of Carlos Santana flats.
If you can manage 5 inch + heels, you would love this pair! They will make your legs look like they go on for days…even short legs like mine! 😉 The round peep-toes are flirty and I really dig the thin ankle strap to keep the look flowing.
The heels are still available here and come in a variety of colors. They would look great with rompers, dresses, skirts, and shorts. Any attire to show off your legs. 🙂 In cooler months, these would be a great pair to wear with jeans. These heels are very versatile and you can truly make them your own.
This shoot took place in Solomon’s Island, Maryland. We found a quiet spot on the docks and got to work. At the time of this shoot, we were still trying to figure out this camera. As such, I was disappointed that a lot of these pics came out blurry. Fortunately, we took enough shots (over 1,200…I know…my poor Dad!) to find a few good ones. 🙂 We ended the shoot at the Annmarie Sculpture Gardens. It’s a beautiful park and we plan to take more pictures there eventually.
