Shoespiration – Sam Edelman Omar Sandals

Summer vibes continue on the blog.  This week, Lizzy’s Latest Shoespiration segment is back featuring the Sam Edelman Omar sandals.  I’ve always been a fan of neon colors (hello 80s!) especially in the summertime and this year, neon has been trending.

I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but every year, I’m always in search of a new pair of pink and/or yellow neon heels.  I love color!  These caught my eye because the pink is so rich!  I also adore the strap styling at front and surprisingly, the block heels.

Stilettos will always have my heart, but every so often, I like to mix up my shoe style with a pair of block heels.  And these heels are comfortable at approximately 3.25 inches.  However, I recommend you avoid walking on rocks in these.  😉  They were a little wobbly as I navigated this trail.  Yet, once I was safely on the rocks, I was fine…at least in a seated position.

I paired the heels with a linen rainbow stripe dress.  I used to love wearing these types of dresses when I was a little girl.  I guess I still do.  It’s the epitome of effortless style in the summertime.

We were in Fredericksburg, VA for this photo shoot.  You’ll see more of Fredericksburg and its links to Revolutionary War and Civil War history in an upcoming blog post.  Can’t wait to share in the coming weeks.

Have a great week!  This is my first full week back in the office after time away and time off.  It’s gonna be rough!  😉  This blog helps ease that dread because it’s carefree and fun.  I also love staying in touch with all of you and sharing new content.

Style with a Smile!

    1. Yes, you and I love color, Jodie! 🙂 I’m so glad you’re settling nicely into your new home in AZ! The fun part now will be shopping for all the things that are “missing!” And the shoe shopping will be so much fun! Happy shopping at DSW and more, my friend! 🙂 Can’t wait to see your finds in a future blog post!

  2. Great beautiful smiles , always classy , elegance and beauty, shoes are amazing, bright like your smile and personality….. civil war history amazing how you enjoy and share this history with your fan club !!! Thanks again

    1. Thank you for your kind words, Mike! It’s nice to hear from friends like you! Have a wonderful week and talk to you soon!

    1. Oh yes, my beautiful Mavis! Stripes AND polka dots look gorgeous on you. You actually came to mind when I put this look together because you are the Queen of dressing effortlessly chic! 🙂

  3. Given how close Fredericksburg is to Southern Maryland, it amazes me that it took so long us to discover it. So much history, charm and natural beauty. I think this setting by the river with the rock formations is the prettiest site Lizzy’s Latest has yet shot at.

    1. It was a hidden treasure in the shadows of Richmond, VA. I’m looking forward to going back for more photo shoots. Thanks, Dad! 🙂
