Lizzy’s Latest – White House Black Market Charlisa Pumps
The girly-girl in me could not resist purchasing these super classy and cute stiletto heels with a bow adorning the ankle strap. It is a subtle bow, but it makes these pointed toe heels quite unique, in my opinion. If you’ve been following my blog, you know I have narrow heels which makes wearing traditional pumps a challenge because my heels keep popping out of the shoe! So, I tend to buy pumps with ankle straps. Now, imagine my excitement when I saw these beauties online at White House Black Market about a year or so ago. I was so thrilled about finding black pumps that were not boring, but had an understated flair! My heart started racing in anticipation of finding my size. I HAD to have these heels! I clicked on “select size” and held my breath. A nanosecond later, I saw a size 6, clicked on it, and added it to my shopping bag. Relief set in and I quickly purchased the shoe!
These leather pumps do not disappoint! The stiletto heel is at my perfect heel height at approximately 3.75 inches. The footbed has a memory foam, standard with White House Black Market shoes, that makes the heels practical and wearable for a long period of time. I wore these shoes all day for a volunteering event at my favorite Civil War Museum last year and felt no discomfort. This year, I walked in these heels for several hours at the Antietam Battlefield in Sharpsburg, MD, even posing on some rocks for several shots. 🙂
Unfortunately, these pumps are no longer available. However, Macy’s has something similar. A quick internet search for “White House Black Market Leather Two Piece Bow Black Heels” will bring up more results, though limited, as well.
If you’re searching for a chic and feminine heel, I highly recommend pumps like these. They look great with skirts, dresses, and even pants, though my preference is to show some leg to reveal the elegance of these pumps. 😉
Style with a smile!
