We had dazzling sunshine the day of this photo shoot at the Antietam National Battlefield, but it was blustery and barely 40 degrees. It was the perfect day for leggings, a tunic sweater, cute brown booties, and kite flying.
My dad and I meet interesting people traversing the Mid-Atlantic region. As we were taking pictures for this heel/outfit combo at Bloody Lane, I noticed a man in the distance flying a kite. Eventually, we crossed paths with him and had a nice conversation. He name is James Powers and he is an expert on kite aerial photography. His images are stunning and he even let me fly his kite for a minute or two. 🙂
After we parted ways, Dad and I continued the photo shoot. The booties held up walking on dirt and grass. I found them decently comfortable with a heel height of only about 3.25 inches. The material is a fabric that is suede-like. Of course, the booties caught my eye because of the pretty bow on the side. 😉
I purchased these pumps Thanksgiving week at a Nine West outlet. They are still available online too. The booties also come in black and grey. A quick internet search for “Nine West Tailor booties” will bring up more results as well.
If you’re searching for a cute and girly booty, I highly recommend these boots. The lower heel makes them ideal for running errands, day trips, and kite flying! 😉 They look great with leggings, jeans, and skirts. For added flair, give them a try with shorts and tights. 🙂
Style with a smile!
