One night several months ago, my dad was flipping channels and came across an episode of “What on Earth” (Season 5, episode 4 for those interested) featuring a ghost fleet of ships in Mallows Bay here in Southern Maryland. I’ve had quite the adventure these last several weeks. With spring in full swing and the weather staying consistently nice, the shopping bug hit me! I’ve been sooooooo good since Christmas and I gave up shopping for Lent. So, I was seriously itching for some retail therapy after Easter. I told myself I would remain disciplined, but then one pair of heels became two pairs of heels. Then, three pairs of heels became four pairs of heels. And after the fifth pair, I stopped counting. Sigh…so much for discipline! I confess, I’m a shoe addict! (more…)
I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter! We certainly did. My beautiful niece, Kristin, had the honor of playing the Virgin Mary in her school’s Passion play this year. It’s not the first time she’s had that honor and we are all so proud of her. Unfortunately, I have no picture to share. Due to the pandemic, it was just an in class production (no audience). Lizzy’s Latest is FINALLY back with a new post! It’s been a whirlwind of a month for me! Work has been crazy busy and I’ve been enjoying weekends with good friends.
