A little insight to this shot. It was very sunny that day and sunny days aren’t ideal for good blog pictures. I was standing on that ledge for quite some time waiting for the sun to go behind the clouds. Suddenly, a moment presented itself and it was so fleeting, I didn’t have time to fix my top. So, that’s why my hands are on my top like that. As soon as this shot was taken, the sun was blinding me again. Sigh…so, we decided to move on.

I have been on a good streak with publishing content for the blog. We’ve been so busy with photo shoots these last several months that I don’t know if I will have time to share all the summer heels I’d like to feature here before fall. Plus, I have some Heels on the Battlefield posts in the works for all my history enthusiasts. It’s been a while since I published a history post and I can’t wait to share my latest one with y’all. Happy St. Patrick’s Day! St. Patrick, patron saint of Ireland, had an interesting life. He was kidnapped into slavery by Irish pirates when he was just 16-years old. While enslaved, St. Patrick worked as a shepherd and learned the Irish language. During this time, he found comfort in prayer and developed a relationship with God. One night in a dream, God instructed St. Patrick to find his way to the coast. There he would find a boat that would free him from his captors. Obeying God’s advice, St. Patrick indeed found a ship that sailed him home. (more…)
