Lizzy’s Latest – BCBGeneration Caliko Suede Strappy Pumps
We continued on our Alexandria, VA adventure with these set of pictures. After taking more shots around my dad’s office, we braved the brisk wind in search of new scenery. Christmas decorations were still on display around the federal courthouse keeping the atmosphere quite festive. Interesting to note, that courthouse was the location where 9/11 terrorist, Zacarias Moussaoui, was tried and convicted. Across from the courthouse is the Carlyle Club, a pretty famous establishment in the Washington, DC area. 🙂
I didn’t mind the walking because the heels, at my perfect height of approximately 3.75 inches, were so comfortable! Though I knew that would be the case because I had worn them for an all-day volunteering event back in December at my favorite Civil War Museum. 😉
These pumps have a pointed toe with a back zip closure and suede upper. I really love the elastic straps detailing the front of the heel. Very unique and super sexy! Though I will say I found the elastic straps to be a bit snug, but they should be like that to maintain the sexiness. I only point this out because this shoe may not be a good fit with every foot.
At the time of this post, these heels are still available at Macy’s in black and brown leopard. However, sizing is extremely limited in the black, unfortunately. A quick internet search for “BCBGeneration Caliko Suede Strappy Pumps” will bring up additional results as well.
I highly recommend these heels if you like height and sexiness, but you have to walk with confidence to pull this look off. 😉 I love pairing these heels with skirts. Pencil skirts and mini skirts allow the heel to be the main focus. To amplify the glamour, pair these heels with a form fitting LBD. For a more conservative look, match the heels with ankle pants. There is a lot of versatility with this pump, so make it your own! 🙂
Style with a smile!
PS: Please read my last post about my co-worker’s brother who is 22 and battling an aggressive form of skin cancer. It is a touching and sad story, but a story that needs to be told.
